A Will is a legal document that sets out your wishes as to how your estate is to be distributed once you have passed away. To be valid, a Will must be in writing, dated, signed by the person making the Will (the testator) in front of 2 witnesses. It is important and wise that everyone should have a Will. In SA community there is a wrong perception that Wills are for rich or employed people only. If you have children it is important that you make a Will, you should make known your wishes about their well-being, accommodation, who should look after them etc.. One more thing in a Will you can write where and how you should be buried.
